One of my favorite coffee shops I've been to in a while. Places like this really reminded you of the difference between commercialized coffee chains and local coffee shops. I wasn't quite sure what to order so I asked for a recommendation and one of the employees told me his favorite was the white mocha hazelnut latte, and that has now become a drink that I order almost everywhere. Really cool environment and plenty of art for sale from local artists. Definitely recommend this place to locals and tourists alike.
I used to love coffee waves, but it has become over run by college kids. It’s not a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy a cup of coffee anymore. On top of the bustling college crowd, the baristas seem to be having a little too much fun behind the counter when they’re not chatting with the other college aged customers.
One mine and my friend's favorite places. We are here almost every Friday for board games. Fast service, nice bathrooms, a really pleasant atmosphere. Everyone is super friendly, and they even have our usual orders memorized.
Really great coffee and for the most part minus maybe one employee they are very very nice. I wouldn't give it less than 5 stars though still. It was only one semi annoying experience not to say they were mean and the rest of the employees made that experience forgettable that one day. I'm there a lot.
Tried it a year ago... Tried it today. In both cases, I wish I hadn't wasted the money. I really thought Starbucks was an over priced cult. But at least their coffee/ pastries taste good.
The coffee is decent, but with the price and atmosphere, it’s hard to want to come back.
