After two visits here I have settled in a 2 star rating. Upon arriving there is no friendly greeting or welcome, instead you stand at the check in desk while the employees look around as if it is beyond their job to greet you. My first haircut here was average at best, They did the bare minimum and same goes for the mani/pedi. They just don't try to make their customers feel welcomed and pampered, a feature that I feel is important for a salon. Moreover, my gel manicure started chipping within the first week!! This is a clear sign of a poor job, gel should last longer. Overall, I gave this location a couple of shots but will move on in my search for dependable salon in Corpus.
I feel bad leaving a negative review- but I have to warn people about purchasing a Groupon for the mani-pedi. First, the salon is rundown, sketchy and not nice. No offer for something to drink or your comfort. The woman are "nice" but extremely unprofessional, especially Trish- who did my pedicure, I did not get the manicure and let them know before I scheduled my appointment that I wasn't interested. Secondly- I went in to get my callouses removed and a polish change. I get shellac on my nails, and was basically reprimanded for not letting them know ahead of time that I had shellac on my toes- and wanted a French pedicure.... when I made my appointment I told Yasmin that I wanted shellac - and I've never in my life had to tell anyone that I wanted a French pedicure or manicure ahead of time. It took Trish 3+ hours to trim my toenails and paint my nails. My calluses are worse, and my heals are cracking. There is nothing NOTHING "deluxe" about this service. I could do a better job in 1/4 of the time and have better results. I wouldn't have to listen to their personal drama, their drinking and partying and horrible vulgar language. I was extremely offended that before she even started she had said the F word multiple times. The salon is so run down and dirty. The tools she used had me grimacing and worrying about possible infection. They knew ahead of time I wasn't getting the manicure part- and I told Trish my #1 goal was callous removal... she complained that I had shellac on my toes and ended up charging me $15 freaking dollars to put acetone on my toes while she gossiped and told me unrelated personal drama. When she was done- I expected to have something of a foot massage- for about 30 seconds she rubbed tons of oil in my legs and feet. So much that I was slipping in my flip flops and had to rub it off with napkins when I got to my car. No massage, no callous removal, a half ass French pedicure polish, no warm towel... Nothing. Not one thing was deluxe. Nothing was professional. And she kept asking me to write her a positive review and that she was sooooo confused that she has NO RETURN CUSTOMERS from Groupon. I wonder why!!!! When I fist sat down she told me it would take over an hour- so I told my husband to come and get me in an hour and a half. He sat in the parking lot for 2 hours!!!! I honestly have nothing positive to say. If you think getting this Groupon is a GREAT idea and an awesome deal- you're getting scammed. 100%!!!! And to make things worse there were two girls waiting after me- when I left Trish was COMPLAINING IN FRONT OF ME AND HER NEXT CLIENT about having to do it! This poor girl had been waiting since 4pm and it was almost 6pm! I would've walked out. Trish trashed other co workers, the owner, the establishment etc. I feel bad for them- because they clearly have no idea how to get business. Or keep it! I want everyone to succeed- but I feel more bad for people who purchase this Groupon than the technicians - which is why I sadly have to give this a negative review. In summation, you couldn't pay me to go back, and if you think you're going to get better service- think again. If I could give this a TRUE review- they would be a NEGATIVE 5 star. Sorry- Trish, but you insulted me financially, morally, you wasted my time and money and it was extremely hard to sit in that chair for that long listening to such unprofessional talk. I was and am embarrassed for you. I hope this will be an eye opener and you will reevaluate how you conduct business.

I was very skeptical to come here after hearing some bad reviews on here and Groupon. However I do like to see for myself, so I went ahead with it. I'm so glad I did, the place is nice the ladies were really friendly and professional. I'll definitely be coming back. In my opinion I got much better service than what I expected for a $27 Groupon. Totally worth it and a great deal!!
Horrible place to get any kind of spa services. They treat customers like crap and then bully them online or let the stylists husbands bash clients online. Will never use this place again. My wife, daughter, and son as well as myself used to get our spa services there. Looks like we will be going to Anthony's Aveda Salon now.
