I have been to many independent Baptist churches in my day and this church is by far the best run and guided in the bunch.
Very Sad.
On our front door, we also have a "NO SOLICITATION" sign on our door. We live on a corner house. These pamphlets indicate that there is no one home, if they are left on the door. This gives "Bad Guys" looking for a house to ROB while we are out of town, a heads up that we are away, nobody's home, wait until the dark of night, and Steal everything we own. This has nothing to do with religion, Just My Safety!! Now I am really disappointed that they ignored my requests.
Good leadership starts at the top(and by top I mean God) and I believe that Pastor Welder seeks first guidance from God before imput from men, and that's how it should be.
Enjoyed the atmosphere and the love of all the people that get together there plus the pastor is super nice and he knows what he's talking about when he preaches.
I am a faithful listener to Pastor Welder every weekday on the radio...on AM radio station KCTA 1030 between 4:00-4:30pm. I love his lessons and always take away a clearer biblical knowledge than I had before. The Lord Jesus Christ has blessed this man with the gift of preaching in a clear and concise manner...always the Truth, always biblically based and easy to understand. If I lived in Corpus Christi, I would definitely check this church out!
Informative teaching, Bible based preaching and a group of people that really do love each other and their community.
If other churches were like this one I would have begun attending church a long time ago. This one really is different in the best way possible. If you want to learn about the King James Bible through clear and concise instruction then this is the place for you.
If you have grown tired of sweetened contemprary churches and your spirit craves something of more substabce, then this is your church.
I have asked this organization NOT to place the Chick pamphlets on door 4 times. Each time I ask, the church secretary tells me that we are on the "Do not visit this home" list.
