WORST PLACE EVER. Every time I have come here literally only ONE or IF IM LUCKY 2 PEOPLE are working. And usually the second person leaves after helping 2-3 people, leaving one person to deal with 10+ people in line... I get it, you're all short on funds but seriously? One person when you have like at least 5 windows available...
and when I went back to the courthouse to inquire about the letter of conviction - the same woman was there and she blandly said "oh yes it was me you talked to... well you can appeal it if you want." so you're basically telling me, because YOU failed to do YOUR MAIN job of COMMUNICATING important information, I now have to waste MORE of my time and MONEY to fix what could have been prevented in the first place if you would have told me what to do????? Ridiculous and unacceptable really. I now have to appeal this quickly as I am leaving the country and want to clear my records before coming back. Absolutely ridiculous.
Furthermore, I won't mention names, but I paid my tickets and turned in the required documents and the woman who was working specifically told me NOT to go to my hearing date BECAUSE I turned everything in that day. I CLEARLY asked her MULTIPLE times if that was IT and I was completely free of all fees and notices. And she said YES and that I did NOT have to go to my court hearing. Guess who got a letter in the mail saying i am now guilty and all my effort was for nothing? Yup. Me. Why? I WAS SUPPOSED to go to that court hearing that woman said I DIDNT HAVE TO GO TO.
The phone system is not as bad as everyone says it is. Call leave a message with your issue and they call you back with all the info you need. The wait in in line is not over exaggerated. Just the wait in line and waste of time is punishment enough. Other than that its the average municipal court.
Speed trap racket. Watch it on your way out of Corpus on IH-37 they camp out before the Nuece bay blvd. exit where the speed changes from 55 to 65.
I got a parking fine mailed to me........... I don't even own a car???? Why??? Such a hassle from a "witness" that said I had parked in front of a handicap spot? IDK?? Is this town really that shady? UPDATE: This ticket was from a vehicle that I had sold and the buyer never did the registration in his name. I will update again once I see what the court allows me to do.

I would honestly hope that she did not steer me in the wrong direction to collect more payment... that would be the most vile thing I have ever heard of.
