I was surprised by a $340 bill for color and cut! Worse yet, the cut was completely uneven in the back and the color was very brassy. I returned the next week - my soonest available time as it took hours, to fix their mistakes and the charged me another $180 to fix it saying it was a week later so they have to charge me! Horrible! Owner is very arrogant.
Beware!! I called in as a new customer excited to try to the salon since I just moved down here. They fit me right in and gave me an approximate cost for partial highlights at $110 and a cut for $56. It seemed a little pricey for Corpus, but I am willing to pay for a great cut and color.
I don't understand how people can rate this Salon so bad. I have been there for Haircut and Style and was very satisfied. The cut was good and so was the service.
She left bleach in my hair so long my hair broke off about an inch from the root. Then she charged me for the toner to fix her mistake. She also gave me a conditioning treatment I didn't ask for and charged me for it. To top it off my banger where crooked....it came out to almost $400 for all of this.
I came here for a hair cut one time and an eyebrow wax. Seriously, the girl who waxed my eyebrows left me with no eye brows. I was completely mortified. After she waxed me, she busted out a pencil. I asked her what she was doing and she said: I am going to fill in your eyebrows. I immediately looked in a mirror, jumped out of my chair, paid and left. I had no eye brows. I called the salon and told the manager what happened. That was it! I will never visit this place again.
The salon staff was nice and Valerie did a great job, but when I went to check out the total (before tip) was nearly $280!!!!! They charged me for conditioning treatments, glazing and more for the highlights than estimated. I was never asked about additional services before receiving them and have never been charged for such services at any other salon in my 20 years of hair care. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK, which is disappointing since my hair looks good. Guess I have to start over looking for a local salon :(
