I went last week to visit the museum. Loved loved loved it especially if you are a fan. It was amazing to see her outfits, awards, dolls etc. Tickets are very cheap. The only issues I have that it was small. I was in and out in 20 minutes. At times it got a little annoying when it got crowed to look at the things. The staff was friendly but the gift shop was small and only sold shirts. I wished I would have met her dad and it was bigger. I wanted to stay longer and see more things.
Beautiful articles but I'd improve it with more things like videos of family members telling about her as a child and family pictures. People come here not only to see her life when she was famous but also to feel closer to her as a person. I wish the gift store sold more affordable things too. Maybe little models of her car or her Barbie doll?
THANK YOU, THANK YOU MR.QUINTANILLA! !!!!!! We visited today with my daughter and mother in law and you made their whole day. You were busy and I could tell that but when I asked you to take a picture with my mother in law you were so kind to her and my daughter saw that and they were laughing and smiling all day. I have been their before and your staff is amazing and kind and today was no different. My mother in law also lost a child some 25 years ago due to a gun shot so in a small weird way today you really made her day I believe he was 24 when he passed I know from hearing her the pain never goes away so thank you so much for your kindness and time....
I went today for the very first time! It was amazing! I had an awesome time. Yes, it is small, but there are many items you can view. Especially the pictures of her life on the back wall when you first go in! I enjoyed taking pictures and loved the gift shop!
The Selena museum was awesome! We really enjoyed it with my family. I really enjoyed the tour Mr. Quintanilla gave us. He was very sincere, humble and transparent. Thank you:)
