My dog stayed here for the first time this weekend, and we couldn't be happier with how well our baby was treated. The facility is spotless and there are so many activities for the dogs to do. The staff was incredibly helpful and loving towards my dog, and I felt very confident that she was in good hands. The grooming service was well worth it, too. She had a blast and will definitely be back!
This place is poorly run and needs to rely on having their staff/management review the establishment on here in order to increase reviews. Which is against google's review police. The reviews from Kelsea Shaw and Elizabeth Swenson are staff reviews. How jacked up is it that you ask staff to give you good reviews but work on taking ones like this down. Some shady tactics.
My review seems to have disappeared. Strange...
I never made it beyond the tour. The woman giving the tour seem annoyed that she had to give the tour and made my sister and I feel like we were asking stupid questions. The layout seemed really clustered and all the dogs were just right next to each other barking and some looked scared or stressed. We also happened to watch a couple of the workers take the dogs out and they just kind of yanked on the leash pulling the dogs that didn't want to go. Too rough, if someone yanked my dog like that I'd be upset. Aside from the girl at the front desk, everyone we encountered didn't really seem all that happy to be there.
The kennels are small unless you pay an arm and a leg for the larger ones. They only go outside to go potty, so if you didn't pay for daycare or a room with a patio, they're only outside for maybe 10 minutes (at most) a day. They charge extra for everything! Want a picture of your dog? Extra. Playtime (for only 15 min)? Extra.
I have not tried their boarding or daycare services but they have a nice self-serve dog washing area that is fantastic!! It's $10 (price of a good car wash, people...so in those terms, not that expensive) for 10 minutes and has multiple modes of wash (flea/tick, conditioning, etc.). They also have a heat-free blow dryer that didn't bother my dogs when used. It was clean and efficient. I'll definitely use this service again.
After asking around I finally talked to someone who boarded there and they said they were overcharged and when trying to settle the matter the girls would go back and forth to the desk and the owners office to try and fix it, like the owner was too cowardly to come out and resolve it face to face. She finally came out when the lady demanded to speak to her and she still didn't get it fixed and was over charged. Based on my experience and that story I will keep my babies far from here.
During my tour this one girl turned to another and said there was a lady on the phone who wanted to check on her dog and the girl answered it with leaving and was like "Yeah, your dog is doing fine." She didn't actually leave to check the dog she just like picked up the phone and told the lady what she wanted to hear and the got back to chatting with her co worker. As we were leaving, another a staff member was bring out a dog for checkout, and sprayed it with a bottle by the door, and I asked the girl who was giving me the tour what that was, and she said it was like dog perfume. So they like spray the stink off your dog to make it seem like things were cleaner than it was. Super shady.
