Apparently, the owner was unavailable till the following Thursday. We booked Fri.-Mon., so he couldn't be reached to rectify the situation. After weeks of prodding, I was told that I would only receive half of my money back because I didn't give him 24 hours to fix anything. The place would have needed to be bombed to get rid of that many pests.
Service was great!
We stayed in condo 1104 and Had the best time ever! Right next to everything and right on the beach. We spent a day in Port A, which is only 20 minutes away and spent each night in Corpus Christi having a great time with family and friends. We will be back every year and thank Texas Coastal Vacations for making our vacation PERFECT!
Search Villa Del Sol or Elaine's condos on TRIP ADVISOR! We stayed at THE SAME condo, # 1302 Villa Del Sol in May 2011. We got there at 2 a.m. and left that same morning at 7.a.m. The sheets had make up stains and hair on them. The bunk beds were nasty. Shower curtain was moldy. The "renovation" was shoddy, and could barely be called just that. And to add to the fun- ROACHES. Lots of them.
I called Texas Coastal Vacations expecting to get a company that was all about the money. The owner answered and helped me through the process of quick reserving my condo for my family and I to stay.
On the website, there is one review for this condo. The reviewer is from Michigan. Coincidentally,the condo owner is from Michigan as well. Liars and scam artists at Texas Coastal Vacations. Dont trust that the other bad review was from a "competitor." That was posted two years prior, and his complaints were very similar to mine. Except, the roaches hadn't moved in yet. The whole complex was shoddy, and run down. Please don't subject yourself to this. LIARS
Luckily the weekend was sunny and we had a blast by the Lexington. Although most of the properties are located at the Villa Del Sol they are working to renovate and it appears to be coming out quite nice.
