If I could give this review no stars I would. This place is a joke. I took my car to put some quarter window louvers and they almost flew off while I was driving they were hanging by the tape. I took it back and he said it was the tape American muscle sent that it was light and cheap so he offered to use his tape which is stronger and thicker and said he had his tech sand it down for a proper fit..why not do this the first time instead of waiting? Then about a week later same thing they almost flew off again driving on the road fixing to go back to see what they are going to say if he’s going to try and blame something else now.
Well first of all, I got excellent customer service from the rep and the body shop guys who worked on it. I am happy with the results I got on my baby(car). I will be getting more work done on it and I will only take it to Ricks!!
Also, he did offer to fix the car after an unnecessary argument but I don't trust that my car will be fixed properly so I'll just do it myself...
The paint work was nice but otherwise, huge disappointment with how my car was handled. Went back because my fog lamp bracket was siliconed in place (silicone is literally covering my entire fog lamp bracket) and the owner danced around the issues blaming me for having needed it back today and that I was expecting something perfect. No, I did not need the car back today and no I didn't expect it to be perfect but I also didn't expect it to be trashed either. I'd also like to add that the owner claimed the part didn't fit but this is actually the correct part for my car. So all in all, I know a lot of people like this place but I had a very bad experience here.
Also please don't get confused with Rick's Detailing and Smart Start!! This rating is for Rick's. Any smart start issues call office!
I have bad the worse experience with Ricks auto I suggest that no one should go there the staff in the office is very rude instead of taking their break they are eating in front office when these two woman should be attending to there customers also I had a breathalyzer installed and the minute the installed it I have had problems with my car I've had to have parts installed into my car cause of the damage of the breathalyzer so people do your research before you go to Ricks auto body
I've been getting my car serviced here for over a year and every time I go the woman in the front is very kind, polite and professional. She handles all customers with courtesy and care. I highly recommend Rick's Detailing due to their great customer service and professional detail.
