Huge thanks to Gaddie Cleaners for their kindness and generosity during this dark time for so many. Our dear friends in Rockport lost their home in Hurricane Harvey, along with most of their belongings. We managed to salvage some of their clothing, and I was able to get much of it washed and clean. My friend had several suit jackets that I'd hoped to get dry cleaned to remove any potential moisture/smell from them. I stopped into Gaddie Cleaners because it was close to my home, and explained the situation to the wonderful woman working at the front desk. She immediately called up the owner, Holden, and offered me to speak with him. While Gaddie Cleaners is also experiencing the effects of Hurricane Harvey, with slow business and employee hours being cut, that didn't stop Holden from stepping up to be a small ray of light in this massive mess the hurricane left behind. Holden and Gaddie Cleaners graciously offered to clean all of my friend's suits jackets and pants at NO CHARGE. We are all trying to do our part in helping our friend's and surrounding communities rebuild their lives after this tragedy. With their act of selflessness, Gaddie Cleaners certainly has a lifelong customer in me now. If you are in need of dry cleaning, might I suggest taking your clothes to this awesome local business.
