The Utilities Business Office has poor customer service. If they told me that cancelling my utility services 8 days after my bill cycle ended would result in me paying $65 to flush the toilet twice, I would have canceled the service at the end of the billing cycle and avoid paying any extra. I shouldn't have to pay $34 in wastewater charges for flushing the toilet twice. And this is the reduction after I had to call and dispute the bill! I would have told my kids to go and pee in the back yard. It feels like the Utilities Business Office just wants my money. My family already stopped drinking the city water because the last time they "fixed" it, a couple of us had stomach aches for a couple of weeks until we figured out what was causing it. Lessons learned by me: cancel your utility bill at the end of the billing cycle and do not drink the city water!
