tldr: An overpriced, poorly maintained property, pretty safe though, location is pretty good for me.
I have lived here for about 10 months and found the apartments to be below average. I have a two bedroom and when I moved in the place was a mess. Carpets were very dirty, one of the bedrooms carpet had a hole in it. Bathrooms were filthy, the master bath looks like the tub was rusted through and they put bondo in it and repainted it. The disposal in the kitchen sink was broke causing the sink to stop up. We reported everything in our walkthrough checklist. The only item taken care of was the sink and it took 2 months for that to be resolved. My next experience was with my A.C. It broke, the Maintenance guy (who is very friendy) told me he couldn't find anything wrong with it, after about six calls they replaced the outside unit and said the inside unit was on the way. This was in July/August, still have never seen the inside unit replaced:*(. Finally my dishwasher broke, reported it in September, now the end of October still not fixed, was told a few weeks ago one was on order. I pay 906 per month plus between 100-120 for electric(keep thermostat at 76 otherwise bad ac will run 24 hours a day and electric was almost 200:D ) I also had a leak in my kitchen ceiling and black mold is growing, reported a couple weeks ago but nothing has happened and finally, my only other bad experience was in the work-out room, looked like some vandals had some fun in it, they discharged the fire extenguisher and then looks like they puked all over the treadmill, reported it on a thursday, then on a monday and finally was cleaned by the following wednesday:( The workout room is small but adequate, it will cost you a one time deposit of 25.00 dollars, they have two pools which cost a one time deposit of 25.00 dollars, a basketball court and a tennis court. Several grills are positioned around the public spaces and for the most part it is a pretty clean safe area. The staff are super friendly, but I think they are understaffed/overworked which is why it is so slow to get things fixed.
This place is God awful. The only thing that keeps us at these apartments is it's affordable and the location is essential. Other than that, I wouldn't recommend this complex to anyone. You're better off under a bridge. We've caught 5 rats and every time we've shown management they still don't believe us because they said "no one else has ever complained about it. Are you sure they're rats?" Yes, you idiot they're big gigantic human ass rats. There's never any parking after 10pm on the weekdays (a lot of visitors take up the parking spots), and management will never do anything about your problems that you've complained about because according to them if no one else has complained about that same problem then they can't and won't do anything about it. They're logic is so terrible here. The appliances are outdated in the one bedroom apartments. Cindy, the manager, has lied on us and to us, and never has an answer to any of our questions.
I lived here from August of last year to August of this year.. They were terrible at keeping you updated. No one could really ever answer your questions and after 2 months of have being moved out I haven't received my refundable deposit and let deposit of $600.00.. TERRIBLE PLACE I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.
