Made an appointment with the owner's daughter and explained to the owner what I wanted when I got there, but she obviously did not listen because when I returned, my dog was completely shaven from head to toe. Her mane had taken years to grow and Yorkie owners know how difficult it is to grow the hair around their head perfectly for top knots.
I also found bruising and a small clipper burn on her belly after checking her over at home -- she's a 7 lb dog. Don't recommend and don't trust this groomer with your pet.
Great service. Fast and friendly. I explained to Nancy how i wanted my Bichon Frise/poodle to look and she did just that. I like that the doors are open so i don't have to worry about my baby being abused. He was matted and didn't come out completely bald like when i take him to the other places. Even looked like he came out smiling. Lol.
My fury family member has been a part of my life for over 9 years. I move quite a bit due to the line of work I am in, which makes it a chore to find a reliable and honest pet groomer. My fury baby, unfortunately, has been cut, busied and has been scared to death of going back to certain groomers. Today, after living in this city for 10 months and trying my 3rd groomer, I called La Pooch. Not only was the voice on the other end friendly, she made an exception to see my baby very late in the day. When I walked in, the establishment smelled clean and felt inviting. I was not even worried about leaving my baby with her. Nancy, the owner of this rather wonderful establishment, was warm and inquisitive about my dog. She immediately welcomed him and asked how I would like her to style him. She even asked for examples, such as pictures if I had them. She spent over 15 minutes making sure she received as much information about my dog, in her words "to do the best job she could". She called me as soon as my dog was ready. When I picked him up, I was in shock! He looked amazing and was so happy! She took the time to give me tips on how to maintain his hair in between visits and even gave me advice on his allergy break outs. He has been happy as a clam since we've come home! I honestly can't wait to take him back! Anyone with a dog that needs grooming, you must take them to Nancy's shop! La Pooch is amazing! Did I mention she grooms your dog in front of you?! Amazing!

She was also distraught and whimpering in the crate at the front desk they put her in when I came to get her and a worker in the back told me she had stepped out so I had to wait another 15 mins to pay. All she could say was oh I'm sorry I shaved off too much and charged me full price anyway.
She was awsome, my puppy looked great. However she did take around 4 hour before I could go pick her up.
