A well maintained and run park. Quiet and clean. A bit out of the main part of Corpus but no issues with security or loudness.
We came from a more primitive style location to CDR and it was a nice transition. The staff was very kind, quick, and helpful. Our kids swam in the pool which is conveniently located next to the laundry facilities which were very clean and had tons of machines. We used the showers after our swim which are individual bathrooms and were very clean. The park is quiet and well kept. The only thing I'd suggest is for management to have someone walk around and clean up dog waste, we had 2 piles on our lot near the road. It's unfortunate that people choose to have dogs and then choose not to clean up after them! Next time we're in the area we will definitely stay at Colonia Del Rey again, thank you!
I choose this park due to convenience to the hospital, excitement for the birth of my first grandchild, first appearance of this park was wonderful clean and quiet. Please do not make the simple mistake of entering the wrong way, oh my goodness we were screamed at by management, not talked to or yelled at but screamed at to the point the gentlemen's lips were quivering in rage he acted like an obsessed narcissist with no regard to others, absolute unprofessionalism. A simple conversation speaking to me as a equal would of worked out better. Mind you we are older, clean and keep to ourselves, this was are only mistake. Never I my life had I had to deal with such childish behavior shame on you for how you treat people. I give this park thumbs down.
We were very happy with our stay, it was very convenient as to our touring around the Corpus Christi area. No issues whatsoever. Thanks again to all the staff...
