I don't normally write bad reviews, but I took my daughter here a couple of years ago, and I'm still disturbed by the fact the dentist so easily jumped to the conclusion that my daughter's tooth needed to be pulled and schedule surgery and anesthesia. She didn't even take an X-ray. It was going to cost thousands of dollars and would have put my daughter under and she has a heart condition which made it a higher risk. I felt compelled to write this review because if you go here, please consider a second opinion before surgery. I sought out two other opinions that said the exact same - it had developed weaker than the other BABY TEETH and it was nothing to worry about. I'm so glad that I got a second opinion. The staff was really nice here but BEWARE!
we literally just left this place and i am so pleased. they where so helpful and helped me take care of one of my toddler while i was carrying my other for his check up. they were so nice && sweet, all the staff. the place was so kid friendly with a play house, books, games. Definitely recomend this place to any parent. im new to cc so im glad this place worked for us.
The worst dentist in Corpus! They overbook every appointment time so you wait for hours needlessly. They nickle and dime you for everything. Basic services that should be included they charge for. Want a doctors note? Copies of records you own and paid for? Better poney up more $. The worst part is they push for unneeded dental work to rack up the cost at your child's expense. Avoid at all costs.
Pediatrix Dental overcharged me. The dental insurance said they should have charged me around $100 less. Of course they wouldn't send me a refund check without me contacting them. So, I contacted the office to get a refund. The payments guy there said that I was correct and he would send me a refund check. Two weeks later I had to call again since I didn't receive the check and the guy apologized and said he'd get the refund check mailed right out to me. Now it's four weeks later and still no refund check.
Worst dentist in town!! This "dentist" is quick to send every kid in CC to Driscoll Children's Hospital & put under for dental work. Out of the 5 or 6 examination pods in the office, she told EVERY SINGLE PARENT that their child needed work done at the hospital. It almost makes me wonder what she's getting out of sending all the children over to Driscoll. She once told me and husband that our 6 yr old son had a cracked molar-and that he needed it to be capped at the hospital and he needed to be put under General anesthesia. My son had not even complained once about his tooth hurting. We immediately got a second opinion, and just like we thought-no crack were found on ANY TOOTH!! If this is the dentist you're thinking about going to-RUN!!!
