Omg! I had never been to this little piece of NY! My daughter invited me to lunch, I couldn't decide so she suggested NY Joe's. I didn't expect much by the appearance of the restaurant. It's quaint and simple, but OMG, was I surprised! We had chicken and pasta with a delicious butter/olive oil sauce. Mine had mushrooms and spinach with chicken breasts. The Best thing I ever had! Our waitress was young and was her first day, but she was always making sure everything was good. Recommend this little place highly. The owners/managers were also very friendly and welcoming interacting with the patrons. Great little restaurant all-around!!
Single best pizza place in Corpus. I've been looking for the closest thing to actual NY pizza, and after trying five other local places, this ends my search. This tastes just like the restaurant we ate at in high school in New York, and any pizza I eat for the rest of the time that I'm in Corpus will be from NY Joe's. Sauce and cheese were almost perfect, and the dough was sweet and just about perfectly cooked. Just enough flop, and just enough grease. Look no further if you're trying to find real pizza.
Great tasting sauce!!! Here and at Authentic NY pizza is he same sauce- almost! Love the atmosphere! The Caesar dressing has a slight twist.....somewhat sweet. Still delivers and compliments the salad. Heavily endorse!!!!
The food and service is really good. And affordable. The a/c was broken the day we so it was really hot in there. I will be returning to try more pasta dishes. The pizza is great too. The Alfredo sauce is homemade. Only advice is that if you don't like the taste of pure heavy whipping cream not to get anything with Alfredo sauce. That is all I taste plus a little sweet so it tastes like real homemade whipped cream. I liked though but it's not for everyone. Recommend the pizza and marinara sauce. And they had a good Cesar salad as well. There is one in Alice that my sister raves about, coincidently, the day I went there it was hot inside as well.
A very respectful establishment with excellent service and awesome dishes. Joe works hard to offer the best. Stop in to have a nice dinner that has everyone at the table talking and staying longer than planned.
