Live music was great when I went. Whoever was playing sang and played great and also had a good sense of humor. Food wasn't bad, in fact it was pretty good. The weather definitely helped, with a nice breeze rolling through and a bright blue sky. Great way to spend a Saturday.
Great atmosphere! Amazing food! We stopped by when we heard this guy singing acoustic versions of 90s hits I loved it and the food was great, abundance for the price too. Just look at that picture
Great food and service. Delicious food made to order with a good drink selection. They also offer daily food/drink specials. Great place to go to grab a quick bite and a drink while listening to some nice live music.
I saw a few low reviews for this place that are just ridiculous. They have live music on the weekends. If you want somewhere quiet, go somewhere else those days. They have an outdoor eating area. If you can't be bothered to check for the chance of rain, eat inside. They have a few cats that roam the outside area. There is a sign that says beware of cat by the hostess to let you know before you are seated. If you are offended by a cat sleeping on a roof or walking around, eat inside. However, if you are looking for a laid back place to eat good food and enjoy the ocean breeze while being treated like family or an old friend, I totally recommend eating in their open air back patio area. My family is vacationing in corpus and this was our splurge place. 2 appetizers, lots of crab, steak, and dessert and it was well worth it!
While this is certainly not a "5 star" resturaunt in all categories, you have to review places based on what they are going for, and how well they have met that goal. With that in mind; they seem to be trying to serve up delicious seafood in a fun, dockside atmosphere.....and have knocked it out of the park. This ranks among the best seafood meals I have ever eaten. The staff was friendly and enthusiastic about serving it up and seeing it enjoyed. Absolutely check it out.
