First time eating here and it is wonderful! The staff was very friendly and graciously took the time to explain how everything worked. The food had amazing flavor and was moist and tender. Plus, we found food my 8 year old daughter will actually eat! She put away some ribs and creamed corn like it was nobody’s business. We will be back!
My son and I went to eat there this afternoon. It had been years since we had gone to Rudy's, so we were checking out the menu. We asked an employee some questions and she was condescending and made us feel uncomfortable. In her condescending manner, she said she would "school" us. That is unacceptable customer service. I can give you her name and the number on the receipt. Her coworkers seemed to have the same attitude. We should have informed the manager, but were limited on time. I recommend to management that they provide better customer service training to employees. The positive thing is that the food was good.
Did not like this place at all I feel I get better food from bill Miller's bbq. I recently moved back from Florida and wanted bbq and when I ate at the location in San Antonio it was amazing. The brisket was dry the coleslaw tasted old and dry. U don't like the crates they put your food in doesn't seem sanitary.
Very good and tasty. For my daughter...they use too much pepper on the brisket. The sides are a little pricey though. $2.09 for a one serving. Beans are not expensive or hard to make. The potatoe salad does not taste homemade either. Otherwise would have been 5 stars!!!. Staff is very nice and friendly though. Monique especially!!!

This restaurant has some of the best tasting BBQ for a reasonable and fair price. The brisket is juicy and not dry and cooked improperly. The beans and Cole slaw are excellent. The original sauce is fantastic. I highly recommend this place.
