I have been to this restaurant many times, and the food has always been reliable and delicious. I have received great service time and time again even during the rush. I order the yellow curry with chicken and vary the spice level. It comes with a bowl of curry with potatoes and carrots, a mound of rice, a chicken soup (or salad), and a fried roll. The prices are reasonable enough to go once a week for lunch even on a budget!
What kind of Curry do you want? They have all the colors of the rainbow. The tom yum soup is delicious and I didn't know that in southern Texas you could get sweet rice and mango year-round on the menu but here you have to ask for them not to make it too sticky or you will need a chainsaw to part the Red Sea. But I wouldn't let that stop you. Adorable atmosphere and excellent service, plenty of parking & decent pricing.
This is by far the best restaurant in Corpus Christi. Stayed here with my family a few times on vacation on the island and in the city and we have tried dozens of restaurants, So glad we found this gem. We ordered pad Thai level 2 and it was the perfect amount of spicy, The iced tea was fresh, the kids had a Kids menu plate and shared it and it was the perfect amount of food. The lunch special came with the choice of salad or soup with a spring roll. I chose the salad with peanut dressing which was amazing. The spring roll was so good we ordered a plate of those for the table and the kids devoured them. We also had a bowl of thin yum which was delicious as well and a tad bit sweeter than I'm used to but still great. My husband ordered the pad woon sen from the dinner menu and it had a flavor that was out of this world. You could def taste the delicious flavor of the wok and the portion was big and came with a side of rice. VERY good place! Double thumbs up and keep up the good work.
This is a great restaurant... the staff is friendly, professiona,l and attentive. The food is fabulous and always cooked to perfection for the individual ordering. The lunch and dinner prices are affordable and coupled with the atmosphere, it is a real jewel for Corpus Christi.
This place never disappoints. Excellent food!! A little small, but cozy atmosphere. I don't think there is a bad dish in the house. But for sure try the appetizer Wings of Paradise. They are to die for.
