It's always fast and friendly. I always enjoy when I get to eat here. The staff is always friendly. The food is fresh and hot. You can't go wrong whenever you choose to eat at Whataburger.
This location is in the downtown bayfront. You can get a good view of the bay from the second story. Just don't go there for food. They get your order wrong, most of the time. They take forever to get you your food. And the top floor is almost always dirty.
Typical Whataburger. Customer service is more of a miss than a hit. One employee stopped another employee from taking my order, after I had already started, and cleared it out just because the employee was about to go into overtime. Had to start over with another employee once they changed a register out. Did absolutely no good complaining to management. Their response was basically a shrug of the shoulders. More tourists here than you would find at a neighborhood Whataburger. I would not recommend this place at night after the bars have closed. Customer service is at its worst then.
Definitely a nice location! I'd heard this was the original one, so a cool experience for any Whataburger fans. They even have an upstairs patio area that overlooks part of the gulf. Staff was extremely nice as well. They have a bench you can sit on with a statue of Harmon Dobson, the founder. Makes for a good tourist picture op. Makes for an unique visit to add to your experience here in Corpus!
Great service and short wait times. The food is very good and the restaurant is clean.
