Just want to say thank you to Eric & Jose for assisting my family after their Aransas Pass home was effected by Harvey. These men extended their arms to help my family and the people of the community during this time of need. These men are so courageous, they deserve to be acknowledged for their immense act of kindness. I can't thank you guys enough, we are so grateful. Of course this would not be done without Home Depot, so thank you all, for everything.
Plenti of associates to help. Young ones were courteous, but had to get help from older staff due to lack of knowledge of store. Guessing they are Christmas help. Anyway, overall good experience.
It's a hardware store. Or a grown-up play store. The employees on the floor are friendly and helpful. Now if you're returning something to the store that's a different experience all together. The return staff are either tired of hearing about your return or they just don't like people altogether. Then on top of trying to return anything there's always just one staff member running the counter. There could be 3-4 employees behind the counter but only one working. The rest just ignore you. So buy from there just remember returning is a whole other game.
The materials I needed were present in the store. I asked for help loading the heavy boxes. None came. I specifically asked two male employees for help, one couldn't leave his machine, it was parked, not running and in sight of the boxes of joint compound. The other grunted an unintelligible answer and scurried away. I went back to the desk and told the woman I was going to go to Lowes. She responded didn't anyone come? When I said no she looked puzzled and said well maybe I can find somebody from somewhere else. I said you know I'm going to go to Lowe's she said well. Got the stuff at Lowe's, cost about $10.00 more for the entire order but I was in and out in less time than I waited for help at Home Depot. By the way, I was annoyed but calm and polite to the woman at Home Depot.
The staff was friendly I'm very helpful the lady at the door Department was very knowledgeable the products and the service they were offered purchases a garage door opener a Chamberlain for a customer who originally bought it from the store on Port but returned it because she wasn't able to get it installed for about 3 to 4 weeks she needed installed as soon as possible so she called us Advantage overhead garage doors if we would install the garage opener and when could we we told her we were able to do it this Monday morning. She is down happy with her in your garage opener installed
