They are very helpful with your need and the need of family
There are too many things to list but this is just a warning. On a positive note the only thing good about this location is the physical therapy. They were so good to my mom in this department.
If you go to the front desk for help they don't even look at you meanwhile as you stand waiting for a response they look at you like if you are nuisance. There is absolutely no security up at the front and through the night. The nights that I would spend the night I witnessed CNAs and nurses talking, gossiping and not tending to patients. I also witnessed patients hanging off their beds and no one would help. My mom was in bad condition when she left this hospital and was transferred to Spohn Shoreline. Two weeks into being at the shoreline location her health is better.
The nurses, housekeeping, CNA'S and all the staff are so nice and sweet as can be. Wonderful place to be (if you have to be hospitalized).
The only reason why I'm rating it a one-star is because there was a few great nurses that were caring. This location is full of students who are in training and should not be treating patients unless a nurse is supervising. A couple of times I would find loose pills on the floor from a nurse dropping them and not giving them to my mom.. and this was her heart pill. My mom was in ICU and they dropped her hard on the bed meanwhile she was in delicate condition. When my mom was in ICU, there were no paper towels and soiled towels left in bathrooms. Every day I would have to sanitize the room. Most of the nurses have attitude.
My dad is currently at this hospital and treat him like an animal.Even his docter started giving up on him and the nurses were never at the office to answer calls.
I don't understand how anyone would give this place anything other then a one.This place is more like a psych ward.My father was here a long 2 wks and they kept him doped up so much he hardly recognized me.They would restrain him at the wrist and his room was often filthy when I'd go visit.The nurses could care less about the family or the patient.Not one didn't give me attitude.This is a very sad place that should be shut down immediately!
