We stayed at the Sailfish house Dec 2016 - Mar 2017 and it was great for winter Texans! The house is beautiful inside and outside. It was sparkling clean when we arrived and the property is well kept. Owners are quick to respond to any questions or issues. Location is convenient to grocery store and shopping.
Sufficient night lighting for car and deck. We spent many hours in the sunshine on the deck. Central air and heating worked great! Good internet connection; it did not miss a beat during our four month stay.
I dont hate it at all. Its a pretty place, well laid out but, for a marina they rarely have enough bait, and seldom have fuel. When you go to a marina with your boat and want to fish those are the things we all take for granted. So unless you already have fuel and plenty bait I'd advise go to another marina where you'll be taken care of, after all most of us aren't interested in a pretty marina we just want to go fishing.
Jane and her staff went above and beyond for us! Housekeeping was really friendly and incredibly helpful, the beds and linens were comfortable, and the neighborhood is quiet. We would stay here again for sure.
If you dont buy drugs from the dealer there they call manger and say lies about you to get you kicked out and they say high clasd not even true has bed bugs and to be honest its the wrost motel ive ever been when you get treated the way we did you think someo e there is smoking crack
Captain Warren is a very knowledgeable fishing guide. We got 15 trouts within 3 hours. 3 over 24 inches. He helped clean up the fish and packed for me. Wonderful guy! We will return. Thanks so much Captain Warren.
Combo washer/dryer was great; beds are comfortable. Plenty of dishes, silverware, pots and pans, towels, blankets and linens. There is a hose hookup to wash car; we felt neighborhood was safe and our car was well protected from rain etc., under house.
A great place to stay and if given the opportunity we would definitely return.
