I had the chance to drop in for a few workouts at CIA while visiting Corpus and had a great experience. Great facility, community, and workouts. Vonkiel and co were very welcoming and top notch coaches. Will definitely be coming back whenever I am back in the area in a few months. Come in ready to bust your ass and do work!

Great place! All of the coaches are good and they can scale their workouts to suit any fitness level! Great facility with lot of friendly members. I was skeptical at first because I had never done crossfit before but I loved it and got a great workout every time. I would absolutely still be a member if I didn't have to move out of town.
Crossfit iron guards is the most intense workout I've ever done, it's so challenging and it was just what I needed when I started feeling like I wanted to give up. All of the coaches are so positive, the owner Von is nothing but POSITIVES, he is a role model, he has passion for what he does, he is a family man, and he takes his work very seriously, and has worked EXtremely hard to get where he is today!! I recommend this location to anyone and I am three weeks going strong and it's awesome. I train with Aldo in the morning and he is an amazing trainer!
I loved this gym!!!!! I was only able to be there for 3 months as I was at the university in corpus, but then transferred out to Austin, Texas. All I can say is that it's been a year since I've had to leave this gym and I have not been able to find the same quality of gym, or community in Austin. The owner is truly the best, he loves his gym, his community and the moment you walk in he makes you feel like family. When I was in the look out for a crossfit gym, I was intimidated by a few by not being so "fit" and then I finally checked out cross fit iron addicts I felt nothing but welcomed!! If I could in any way pick up this gym and community to come to Austin I really would!!!!! This is the best gym ever from across two different cities, it's been very sad not being able to be apart of this gym anymore, and if you have a chance to join this gym please do so!! You will not regret it. The three months I was there I got in the greatest shape of my life, the class times were extremely convenient for a college student, while also having a job the price was perfect for what you get if anything it's worth a lot more! It's just so amazing, there's nothing but greatness to be spoken about this gym and the owner and coach Jen. I will never forget the great positive experience I had in this gym!
