POSITIVES:There are separate rooms where there is space for circuit training, stretching, abs, etc. The price per month was fantastic as well as the fact you could always bring a guest.
It's AWESOME but I was wondering if y'all know some good meal plan places
NEGATIVES:The facility is a decent size but equipment was regularly broken and you had to be very careful with the machines to ensure the pins did not come out of the adjustment settings while you are lifting. The equipment layout is very cluttered so you are are packed in like sardines during peak hours and always in someone's way. The primary staff member was EXTREMELY immature and his obnoxious antics were very annoying during workouts (even though I would be clearly in the middle of a set and have headphones on which are glaring "do not bother me during my gym therapy" signs). Finally, I had to move out of state for work and was unable to simply call or send an email to cancel my membership during my transit across the county. Instead, you have to mail a snail mail written letter to cancel. This system needs to be updated in my opinion. This review is specific to the flour bluff location as it was the gym I primarily used for proximity and convenience purposes.
Not the best choice of free weights, but 24 hour access is appealing. The gym is small but is usually not too busy.
I joined this gym in corpus and seeing as I travel, I came to check out the Flex Fit here in Austin. It is just as amazing as the rest. I have had more than one person come with me and get a first free training... they're now members themselves. Stay Fit My Friends.
Inquired via email regarding personal trainers and got a quick response back saying someone will contact me the next day. It's now on the 3rd day without hearing from anyone. Very gladly taking my business elsewhere where they're happy to have it.
