The only thing that's missing is a barbell squat rack. They could use a stair master in the women's area. If you get the $10 membership that does not allow you to go to the other Freedom on SPID.
It's never crowded. Most of the staff is friendly. Not to big, but it has the essentials.
Decent gym that can accommodate for all muscles. Little over crowded at times, but nothing unbearable. No medicine balls or kettle bells, and very small area to do cardio workouts. Be careful when signing up. I was sold on a non-membership month to month plan, but upon cancelling I was told I was in a contract.
Gym is clean and friendly. Staff has always been helpful. Location is great. I leave 5 minutes away. Would differently recommend Freedom Fitness Alameda.
This is a great gym but I'm hoping the OWNER opens another location on the south side. The traffic is too much crossing SPID, so I canceled my membership because I don't want to hassle with all that traffic in the intersections of Everhart, Staples, and Roddfield Road. It would accommodate all the people that between SPID and Saratoga it would be nice if they opened a gym on Saratoga, I bet a lot more people would join. I hope the owner reads this.
Overall it's one of my favorite gyms here in Corpus Christi.
For $10 a month it's not a bad deal at all. The gym is fairly new, very clean. I've been a member here for over 2 years now. It's about a 3 minute drive from my house. The staff is always friendly. It's not too crowded like the other gyms in town. They have a woman's section that has everything you need for a full upper and lower body section. They have three squat racks.
