Clean! That's my highest priority. In addition it was a really nice place to stay. Nice structure. Quiet. Centrally located. Pleasant and friendly staff. Breakfast was very good as well. Grab-and-go yogurt was particular Plus.
Crazy cricket in my room first night. Yummy free breakfast this morning. I've been spoiled by the super sweet folks at most Holiday Inns, these reps aren't quite as outgoing/friendly. So so bed.
All was good, except the in room safe was already locked when we got there. Couldn't coordinate a time to get it opened. Other than that, it was a good stay. Rm 402's Air Condition is weak.
I am a IGH rewards member and stay at holiday inns all over the country, this morning i was told by the front desk they there are no more late checkouts for rewards members due to corporate policies. I called the IGH customer service line to tell them how i felt only to be told that was not true, so i put the gentleman on speaker phone so the lady at the front desk could hear and her response was “i know i just told you that because this hotel doesn’t like to give late checkouts so we can get the rooms cleaned faster”. So basically this hotel would rather you wait in the lobby with your luggage for 2 hrs to be picked up then inconvenience themselves and let you stay in the comfort of the room you paid for.
Very, nice, quit and clean. Great amenities. Great free breakfast. Comfortable bed and pillows.
