So I booked knights inn and I'm thinking ghetto...from San Antonio and over there they all look like they suck.. but this location completely changed my mind! Inside was clean... furniture and bedding made the room look that much better... Gazebo area was nice with BBQ pits.. pool area is nice as well ... Next time we come to corpus I will be staying here !!
This place is a dive. The curbs and stairs were filled with cigarette butts. The was a hole in the ceiling above the bed. Everyone was loud late into the night. To top it off, in the morning I found out that the bathroom shower did not work. I could get any water and had bath out of the sink.
Decent place to stay for the price. Beds are mediocre. I was in a room with adjoining doors to another room and i could hear muffled conversation. But once i turned on the TV it was blocked out. Floor was kinda dirty. Turned the bottom of my socks gray. Hot water in the shower ran out after a few minutes. Luckily i was almost done. Will do in a pinch out when I'm short on cash, but definitely not my first choice next time.
I would have given a 5-star review however I don't feel that the owner is doing the city the fans that come from all over the world to see this historical landmark and he denies everyone and anyone the story and comments that he wishes to erase her existence or memory from that location I understand that it's not exactly the best thing to be remembered for a nationwide Superstar possibly one of the biggest stars in the music industry was murdered in his hotel but unfortunately that's also what brings the attractions to the city and the fact that he basically dishonorably acknowledges her existence is really insulting to the Nationwide huge fan base and I do believe the only reason that hotel gets any attraction is due to where it's located and Selena other than that there's no reason for anyone to stay at this hotel there are cheaper more run-down hotels I'd rather stay at then to be insulted or insult the queen by allowing myself to stay there when someone disrespects her memory so horribly what he is trying to do is getting the opposite reaction of what he was hoping maybe he'll think twice and try to change this I not only write as a guest and a fan of the Superstar but I also write reviews for hotels of historical history and travel throughout the us to stay in them and write about them and this is probably going to be one of the only hotels I have written a negative Nationwide review about in a well-known magazine because of the disrespect that he shows the people and of course the queen herself the family the fans deserve better Hospitality when coming to historical landmark whether or not he approves or dislikes what happened the point is he knew what he was purchasing and what happened in that hotel before purchasing it and he still chose to don't try to erase history embrace it
Not bad for people who are either out of town looking for a quick nice and cheap place to rest and stop. The breakfast offered is not what I found to be accurate. There was not anything really as far as adinning room. The wifi offered is an open spot which is classified as a private access yet needs better customer protection, I specialize in computers and networking and the unprotected customer data transfer are not protection worthy to recommend any one connect to. So avoid it unless you just want to suft the internet but, Do not check bank account information or credit card information while under the free WiFi, also when calling outside lines or numbers you must let the person your calling know your room number, other wise they will be without a way to further contact you. It's odd the side of the freeway and for the most part is a place I wouldn't recommend taking family to, but if your budget allows there is far better options. It's in a more or less poor side of town and thus not very safe for children to awander around so be careful in this respect. Mainly truckers and people working at the plants, refinery, are the types who stay here. Also for more or less shady business, sorry but Truth is truth and the room used by the individual was for not in so many words illigal intent! So family's with children stay away! Other then that. I'll offer what I can. There is a gas station across the street, don't expect much from them in terms of other then gimmick items and your normal as sortment of items.
