If I could give no stars I would. This place is a money pit, especially for the swim lessons or lack there of. We signed out almost 3 year old daughter up there, and we had mentioned that she was advanced, in that she had already had to years of private swim lessons. We were informed that she "had" to do the parent taught swim lessons. OKAY, we go and there are two high school aged girls teaching the class. And when I mean teaching I mean singing songs, NO hands on instruction, and them standing in the middle of the pool talking about their day and saying "sing the song really slow so we don't have to do another activity!" Yes, if you want to waste your money go here, to NORTHWEST gymnastics. Expect NO refunds when you call 20 times to tell them that the class was worthless. Michelle (the owner) makes no apologies about how she runs her money pit of a business and will refund NO money even if you only went to one class that was absolutely worthless.
This is my family and my second home! We moved from Philadelphia and have no family here in Texas. Most of my friendships were made here at the gym. My children have done both gymnastics and are currently in cheer and thriving at NWK. They have been attending camp during the summer, even on their days off they beg me to take them. There is so many things for them to do. The different themes each week and rotations constantly keeps them excited. NWK has truly made my family and I feel at home!
